I just completed a week of enjoyable interaction with readers at two separate events in McCormick, South Carolina.

On Thursday evening about two dozen attended an Authors Night including a Book Signing at the McCormick County Library. My talk focused on the research for my recently released historical novel, Genesis of Martyrs: Don’t Tread on Me ~ Saga 1. I believe those who attended enjoyed the evening…. the interaction during and after my talk was lively. I know I enjoyed the evening.

On Saturday, even with Hurricane Florence threatening, downtown McCormick held its annual Gold Rush Festival. Many who evacuated the coast and traveled inland took refuge in our community and attended the festival. They watched the parade, visited the attractions… including a table at which I discussed and sold books. I enjoyed meeting many interesting people including the brother-in-law of a friend I haven’t seen for about thirty years…. when I lived in Ohio.
